We are seeking a few exceptional people for the 2010 season... We need professionals with a commitment to a career as a fishing guide to give our guests the service they deserve. As such, our fishing guide jobs pay well. You are expected to have all of your own personal equipment (waders, rain gear, rods, etc.).


We have pro deals with many of the major rod and reel manufacturers and other manufacturers of outdoor gear. If hired, you will be able to purchase through these programs.

Alaska River Float and Base Fishing Guide:

Significant Alaska experience is required! You must be able to operate catarafts with 2 guests and capable of rowing in Class III waters. Disassemble and reassemble catarafts and all associated gear. Camp setup and tear down to include cooking facilities. Cooking skills required. Operate and maintain 16'-20' jet drive outboard boats (basic engine machanics necessary). Salmon, trout, grayling fishing (all species) with both fly & spin gear required. Advanced fly casting capabilities necessary. Knowledge of Alaskan flies and lures a must. References required. Must have or attain before season starts: Alaska Boaters Safety Course certification, Alaska Guide Licence, current CPR/First Aid certification, Coast Guard Limited OUPV license is a plus but not required.

Excellent pay for approximately 11 trips per season plus end of season bonus and tips. Season runs from June 22nd - August 29th. Must arrive NLT June 15th for season checkout and gear instruction. All camp gear, including sleeping bag, tent, etc., bush flights, and meals are provided. (Note: June 15th-21st is at your expense).


Alaska Base Camp Operator:

Run the day-to-day operation of our Alaska Skwentna River Camp. You must be able to run all facets of a remote base camp to include, but not limited to, cooking, cleaning, transporting gear using a 4 wheeler, operating and maintaining generator, water heater, batteries and other equipment. Operate jet drive outboard boats transporting gear and supplies. Must have or attain before season starts: Alaska Boaters Safety Course certification and current CPR/First Aid certification.

Excellent pay for a 7 week season plus end of season bonus and tips. Season runs from July 20th - August 29th. Must arrive NLT July 18th for instructions and fly-out preparations. All camp gear,including sleeping bag, tent, etc., and meals are provided. (Note: July 18th and 19th are at your expense).
